Breakfasts, lunches and teas are available in the tea shop behind Cattistock Village Stores. The latter sells groceries, newspapers, confectionary etc. and is open 9am - 6.00pm on weekdays, and 9am - 12.30pm at weekends.

Lunches and evening meals are available at the Fox and Hounds pub in Cattistock, and at the Chalk and Cheese pub in Maiden Newton, a mile away.

Maiden Newton also boasts a coffee shop open during shop hours, and a Fish and Chips takeaway open in the evenings.    In addition there are many good restaurants in the wider area offering seasonal, locally sourced food; for instance The Greyhound pub in Sydling St Nicholas, pubs in Evershot, Cerne Abbas, Beaminster or Dorchester.

Giant's Head Camping and Caravanning Park
A peaceful, rural park with exceptional views of Dorset Downs and Blackmore Vale,  near the ancient village of Cerne Abbas where the 180 foot high figure of the Cerne man is carved into the hillside.
It is a well drained site of three and a half acres with a good, hard access road. There are 50 pitches for caravans or tents, with terraces.
