TRAVEL
Your destination is
The Lodge Cottage, Cattistock, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 0JL
By car:
Cattistock lies to the west of the A37, which runs north to south, between
Yeovil and Dorchester - see map below.
The village is signposted from the A37, at approximately 12 miles south of
Yeovil, and 8 miles north of Dorchester.
Take that turn and descend the hill towards the valley. At the T-junction
at the bottom turn left into the village.
Follow the main street of the village as it bears sharply left, and you
will see the Fox and Hounds inn on your left. Continue past the pub down
Duck Street, which bears very sharp right at the end. The tree-lined cricket pitch appears on
the right after about 500 yards, and The Lodge Cottage is just past this
on the right, at the junction with St. Helen's Lane. There is plenty
of parking on the gravel drive to the side of the house.
By train:
From London a service runs from Waterloo station to Dorchester South
station every hour. Services from Bristol and Bath stop at Maiden Newton
station, one mile away from Cattistock. We will collect you from either
station with pleasure if you let us know the times. Book online at
